Lenses and illuminators target
MTL Series bi-telecentric lenses feature integrated coaxial illumination and are available in 16 FOVs ranging from 25 mm to
310 mm. Supporting eight different sensor sizes up to an 82
mm format, the new lenses are matched with MTI Series bi-telecentric illuminators available in white, green, red, and blue.
Compact “L” type versions of the illuminators, where the light
is bent to reduce the overall product length, are also offered.

Smart camera targets multiple applications
With a Camera Link interface, the Smart MAGIC camera 1005C RGB color camera features a
1 MPixel CMOS image sensor with 5. 6 µm pixel size that can reach
a frame rate of 30 fps. Through the camera’s FPGA, embedded
image processing (including automatic gain control, color management and gamma) are possible. Additionally, the camera
features a 140 dB dynamic range.

Image analysis software uses deep learning
Version 2.0 of the deep learning-based software suite offers advances in capability and speed. ViDi
Suite’s feature recognition tool, ViDi Blue, has added the capability of identifying and locating features regardless of size and orientation. It also provides a 30% to 50% reduction in training and
processing (inference) time. Developers can now offload image analysis to one or several remote
computers and use the new Training Application Programming Interface (API) to add labeling and
training capabilities to their applications while maintaining a single consistent user interface (UI).
